The next day, Bob took the same shortcut again, to see his new acquaintance; and enjoyed a spirited and extremely incoherent conversation with him. It was dreadfully amusing, so he came back the following day, and the one after that, to continue their discussion. The more Bob heard from the little Borzoi-camel, the more fascinated he became, and the more he longed to know just who and what this creature was. 🤔🦙💬

 

Well Hello

 

For Bob, it all started, many years ago, with one fateful shortcut home from school. He saw an animal he’d never seen before. It was like a mythical creature, combining all the best points of a camel from the moving pictures, with all the best points of a Borzoi hound from the fancy fashion plates. The creature went “hmmm?” And Bob went “hmm” in reply.

A Moment of Calm

A moment of calm. Bob is home, relaxing in suds, while his llama; freshly washed and combed, takes a nap on the rug.

Pullman

Bob and his llama have found their seats on the pullman car, and are eagerly awaiting departure. The section technically contains two berths, but It did not occur to Bob to book both of them. Now, another unsuspecting passenger is looking for that fourth seat and 2nd berth. What would you do if your traveling companions turned out to be Bob and his llama?
